CMC-DL270 Doppler Log is an instrument that uses the Doppler frequency deviation between the emitted sound waves and the received reflected waves from the bottom of the water to measure the speed and cumulative range of a ship relative to the bottom of the water. Mainly used for providing accurate data on the longitudinal and transverse movements of giant ships when navigating in and out of the gorge waterway, berthing and leaving the port.
