RAI 900 Digital Rudder Angle Indicator
I. Product Overview
The RAI 900-1 three-surface rudder angle indicator is suitable for indicating the rudder angle of various types of ship rudders. It features high accuracy, simple installation and adjustment, lightweight design, comprehensive functionality, compatibility with a wide range of instruments, and easy maintenance.
II. Main Features
This rudder angle indicator boasts high indication accuracy, zero noise, intuitive and clear readings, compact size, and light weight. It can also be equipped with multiple single-sided rudder angle indicators. The rudder angle signal from the rudder angle transmitter is transmitted via an RS-422 digital signal, offering advantages such as long transmission distance and strong resistance to interference.
The rudder angle display range can be arbitrarily set to either 35° - 0° - 35° or 45° - 0° - 45°.
The RAI 900-1 plastic three-sided rudder angle indicator features both an analog display in the form of light-emitting diodes and a digital display in the form of numeric tubes.
The RAI 900-2 single rudder angle indicator features a digital display in the form of an LED numeric tube, and simultaneously uses light-emitting diodes to provide an analog display showing the left-right swaying motion direction of the rudder angle.
The RAI 900 rudder angle indicator system can transmit output signals to six split displays and two RS-422 ports (compliant with the TEC-61162 standard interface) at N time.

The rudder angle display accuracy shall be no greater than 1°.

Installation type: The three-sided rudder angle indicator is top-suction type.
The single-sided rudder angle indicator is available in embedded, wall-mounted, and waterproof versions (depending on user requirements).
External dimensions: Three-sided rudder angle indicator: 405 x 125 mm; single-sided rudder angle indicator: 144 x 144 x 80 mm (embedded or wall-mounted); single-sided rudder angle indicator: 96 x 96 x 100 mm (embedded); waterproof single-sided rudder angle indicator: 164 x 164 x 116 mm. System components: rudder angle transmitter, three-sided rudder angle indicator, single-sided rudder angle indicator, signal distributor, and DC-DC power converter.
