CHAI SA01 Shipborne Class A Automatic Identification System
1. Product Number: CHAISA01 Shipborne Class A Automatic Identification System
2. Introduction:
The CHAISA01 vessel-mounted Class A Automatic Identification System is equipped with AIS automatic identification and GPS positioning functions, enabling features such as collision avoidance between vessels, information exchange, vessel positioning, and distance-based alerts. The application of new technologies has made various alert functions—such as encounter warnings, arrival notifications, and course deviation alerts—more accurate, truly playing a role in enhancing navigational safety.
3. Function:
3.1 Automatic Identification System (AIS) Functions for Ships
Transmission, reception, and display of autonomous ship’s dynamic, static, and navigation data;
Static data includes: MMSI, ship name, call sign, IMO number, vessel type, vessel size, GPS antenna location, and port of registry, etc.;
Dynamic data includes: latitude and longitude, ship speed, course, turning rate, navigation status, and time, among others.
Navigation data includes: draft depth, types of dangerous goods, port of destination, and estimated time of arrival, among others;
Information sending, receiving, and display (including Chinese information).
3.2 Target Ship Proximity Alarm Function
Proximity setting;
Near the LED flash indicator;
Proximity voice broadcast prompt (adjustable from 0.1 to 6.0 nautical miles);
Proximity alarm sound prompt (adjustable from 0.1 to 6.0 nautical miles).
3.3 Target Ship Information Display Function
The list displays the target vessel (showing distance, bearing, and a 9-digit identification code);
The vector graphic displays the target vessel (with range options from 0.1 to 48 nautical miles);
Zoom in to display the target vessel’s data information;
Display detailed data information about the target vessel.
3.4 GPS Navigation Function
Display of ship position, ship speed, course, time, and date;
Waypoint storage and retrieval;
Display of the destination’s direction, distance, and estimated time of arrival;
Yaw alarm and prompt upon reaching the destination during navigation;
