    • Product Introduction

      To prevent and control operational risks during ship fueling or cargo handling, ships must be equipped with a suitable Ship-to-Shore Link Emergency Shutdown System (SSL). The Ship-to-Shore Link Emergency Shutdown System supports voice communication and emergency shutdown (ESD) functionality. Through this system, the ESD function can be activated to ensure that valves on both the ship and shore sides are simultaneously closed, thereby guaranteeing the safety of fueling or cargo-handling operations.

      Applicable fuels: natural gas, methanol/ethanol, ammonia, liquefied petroleum gas, and hydrogen, among others.

      Product Composition

      • The system consists of two main parts: shore-based equipment and ship-based equipment.

      • The system is equipped with master control boxes, junction boxes, marine telephones, and radio equipment, respectively located on the vessel side and the shore side.

      • The ship-side equipment and the shore-side equipment are connected via movable, rapidly connectable optical cable reels, cable reels, and air hose reels.

      • The system enables voice communication between ship and shore via radio equipment and marine telephones, with the two communication methods serving as mutual backups.

      • The system can transmit ESD signals and other information between the ship and shore via fiber-optic cable connections, cable connections, and pneumatic connections; these three methods can serve as mutual backups.

      • When applied to actual vessels, the voice communication and signal transmission methods can be selected based on the specific conditions of the vessel.
