Product Details

    • 1. Product Introduction

      Navigation radar is one of the most important components of marine navigation equipment. By transmitting electromagnetic waves at a fixed frequency and detecting the echo signals, and by integrating data obtained from other navigation devices and sensors, it serves purposes such as navigational assistance and collision avoidance, thereby enhancing navigational safety. It is often referred to as the "eyes" of ship navigation. The CMC-ARPA series radars comply with the IMO/SOLAS Convention as well as the latest IEC standards and have obtained the relevant certification certificates from CCS.

      Application areas and main functions:

      1. When navigating along the coast and entering or leaving ports, clearly display land features and other fixed hazards;

      2. Provide clearer navigation images and enhance awareness of the on-site situation;

      3. In a ship-to-ship mode, provide collision avoidance assistance for detected and reported targets.

      4. Detect small floating and fixed hazards and provide collision avoidance assistance to ensure the safety of your own vessel.

      5. Identify floating and fixed navigational aids.

      Product features:

      Complies with the latest IEC standards and is CCS-certified.

      Excellent small target detection capability

      ARPA automatic capture function with up to 200 units

      The main and auxiliary PPI displays offer a wider field of view for detection.

      Chart overlay, supporting common S63/S57 charts.

      Multi-radar networking enables more flexible user operation.

      2. System Composition

      The CMC-ARPA marine radar system mainly consists of several key components: the antenna, transceiver, radar processing unit, computer processing unit, display unit, and radar control unit. The software for the CMC-ARPA marine radar is named CMC-ARPA, and its current version number is V1.0.10.

      This series of radars includes X-band and S-band models, offering optional transceiver antennas with power ratings of 10 kW, 25 kW, and 30 kW. The radar display units are available in 19-inch, 20-inch, and 26-inch models.
