This WB-2 anemometer is a fully digital, high-precision instrument for measuring wind speed and wind direction, based on ultrasonic principles. It features automatic heating to prevent ice and snow accumulation and boasts all-digital operation. The NMEA output format is: $WIMWV,ddd,R,www.ww,N,A*cc. Refresh rate: once per second.
Installation and fixing:
When installing, ensure that the instrument is placed horizontally and that the “N” directional marker at the bottom of the cylinder wall points precisely toward true north. The instrument is secured and locked in place using four M6 screws, as shown in Figure 3.1.
